Random Recipe: Minute Steak with Taco Sauce from “Mexican. Flamboyant and Fiery Dishes to Cook and Enjoy.”

This will probably be the last Random Recipe for 3 months unless Lindsay and/or Alexi become inspired and decide to try to clear the bookshelf.

To be honest, I did cook a meal from this previously for a Random Recipe but forgot to take photos during the cooking process.  In addition I made many alterations to the recipe because it seemed dull.

 

Alexi and Lindsay pointed out something to me which was an eye opener.  If we are truly to judge a book by the recipe then we/I should follow the recipe.  In other words not add anything in an attempt to make it more palatable or interesting or adjust seasonings because I hate coriander.

POD Food, Pialligo. January, 2016

For your information         

Clean the Plate will be on a sort of hiatus until the middle of May.  Jamie is travelling overseas while Lindsay and Alexi will continue studying.  The ‘sort of hiatus’ is because Jamie has said (and hopefully can be trusted) the blog will continue with some reviews from places visited in Europe.  The person accompanying Jamie might contribute a few words.

Now back to the review:

POD is situated in Pialligo, which conveniently has a parking lot, due to the increase of parking restrictions in this area.

It provides breakfast on the weekend and lunch and dinner from Thursday ‘thru’ Monday.  (Not exactly certain if that includes Monday?)
